Oh, fan :P

-Coming to this I first thought it was going to be about a fan that blows wind and I feel kind of silly for not thinking about the other fan possibility first. Some nice indie work and you've been coming along nicely I see. Cool to see that you aren't working solo anymore.

-I feel like a broken record saying that the guitar intro was sloppy but it can always be worked on in the future. When things calm down and the vocals come in it sounds much better and you have a nice mix of percussion in the background. I do quite enjoy the part that starts at 1:34 too and it's a nicely placed transition to give the song a boost. I'm going to assume that it's the chorus since it comes up again later too. But it's good :) For the most part the vocals come through clearly and are pronounced enough.

-Overall the structure of the song and lyrics fit well together. Just a nice blend of everything. Filled with many high and low points. Once of the better works i've heard from you. The beginning and end aren't customary but they give the song a nice edge of being on the spot and not pre-planned. Hope everything turns out well with the band.

Thanks a lot, man! I'll definitely work on the points you said and such. I'm still planning on adding more sections anyway. Glad you liked it! If you want I'll send you a download link to our EP once we finish. Thanks!

Came out well

-I thought the title and sound were familiar. Nice to see you put some time into finishing this and making it into a full fledged song. There are still the same elements from the loop which was definitely a solid base to start with and i'll agree that being simple is better than trying to overdo it.

-Came in with strong some strong kick in the percussion and it fit nicely with the melody when it came in. The melody is still full of life and rather catchy. Very fast tempo and keeps you pumped up and in the action. Has a nice mix of back ambient noise that was a nice contrast. Very full rounded song with nice transitions and a nice forward flow.

Very electronic

-Ah, vocals. Don't hear too much work with this addition and it was a pleasant suprise when this started playing. Very catchy song. The melody just gets stuck in your head and seems like something you can imagine hearing on the radio. The electronic mixing on it brought an interesting side to this and I quite liked it. Plus wobble bass, definitely brought some variety to this. Structured well with several nice builds in momentum. Definitely worth the listen and I honestly think it deserves a higher score for the work put in.

Everland

-It boasts a nice melody mixed with some percussion and a piano sidekick to boot. I find it sort of played down and not so over the top but the way you handled the volume and layering is fine. Very subtle and finely tuned. Structure isn't half bad but I find the song to be lacking in the length department. A few nice transitions and variety throughout which kept me interested. Overall it's not bad for your first dabble into the genre.

Thanks a bunch for the useful feeback (:

I feel lucky.

-Classic quotes from a well known source can be quite the introduction to things as you've shown in the past and this is no exception. One of the more fitting ones I might add. It's sort of a sign of things to come and goes well with some of the wobbles and chains later on.

-Your wobbles are very interesting and quite varied. Well placed stops and a good bit of percussion mixed in. Kept me on my toes throughout and I like that. 2:27 had a nice transition into the sound effect and brings a nice climax to the song. Overall it's a nice blend of mixes and wobble. Hard work does pay off.

Lol, love the title

-While it does start off rather slow it's a damn good introduction to the song. Very soft and subtle with the occasional breakdown. Not too much usage of the pads but enough to give variety. But it's not like this song is anywhere near short on variety. I don't think i've ever come across a song that was so vibrant and full of suprises.

-You've created a wonderful atmospheric melody and the wildlife noise is a nice touch that adds to the relaxing effect. Nice transitions but seemed a little slow to take effect sometimes. Layered well and can appeal to a wide variety of people. Overall an enjoyable song that takes a backseat and lets you relax.

-Maybe she thought the squeeky noises were like pickles or something like that. Could of just been the first thing that came to mind too.

EricFreeman responds:

Haha thanks. Yeah, I wasn't sure where this song was going to go when I started it and I kept adding things, changing things, and mixing them together.

And yeah, I know what you mean about the song being slow at times. However, this was definitely more of a background music piece then something they play out on the dance floor, haha.

Thanks for reviewing!

Well done.

-Well it's definitely entrancing. Very catchy beat that doesn't let up the intensity. Nice and fruity with rough edges. Synths are spot on and add to the effect ever more so. 1:41 was a nice transition to add much needed variety. In the end everything just seems to come full circle but not let down on the pace from the start. Work and time in this shows and i've grown to really like it over the few times that i've listened to it.

Thanks for the kind words (:

Relaxing

-Ah a nice melodic introduction to this one. I like how the beginning buildup was laid out. Everything didn't come in at once but was layered out very slowly. There could be more variation in the middle as it stays kind of stagnant for a while before the bells come chiming in. Overall I think it's a good listen. Maybe a bit too long though.

Thank you for the review!
As you pointed out, my songs dont variate as much as they do so i will try to work on that... Im glad you liked the beginning though :)

Masterfully Done

-Your work has really grown in quality since last I had the chance to have your music reach my ears. Much improved and i'm not suprised as your work has always been up there imo. Very enjoyable melodic piece that you have put together. Has this way of toying with your emotions in a good way. Very happy and atmospheric throughout.

-2:49 really suprised me and was without a doubt my favorite transition in the song. It was just so unexpected on first hearing it and had a resounding umph to it. Followed by a resurgence in the melody. Coming back just a tad stronger but it brought a new side to the slow ambient sound that it started with. Rather long song but not too long as it was structured well.

-Honestly not anything I could find to pick at. Very well thought out song that came together masterfully in the end. Definitely worth the ten and favorite.

Thanks man! Really appreciate it!

Rather short

-Even though this is a loop I think this is the shortest audio piece that i've come across here on newgrounds. Not sure why it's so short but at least it loops well to give it the illusion of being a longer song. Definitely has some potential to be expanded even if it's just into a longer loop.

-The kick in isn't very strong but maybe it's to keep the loop more consistent instead of it having a precise point to have it start. Very nice percussion overall considering it makes up the majority of the background. Quite enjoyable as it is but wouldn't hurt to expand on this some.

I'm a pretty laid back person. Like some things about the new design but still like a lot of things from the old one :/
