[Moonscraper]

Wow

The detail is amaizing. It's obvious you took a ton of time to elaborate on everything. Giving it a nice new age look with old age elements mixed in.

Wow

-There is so much detail in the zoomed out version that you can't even see in the regular NG sized picture. The brush strokes look almost bacterial-like and very smooth. Gives it that nice grainy texture that can be hard to get.

-It felt a bit bland by using one color. I know blue is associated with cold but you could of done a bit more than just two shades of blue. Filling in the brush strokes would also make it look a bit more professional.

Well

-I like the fine detail of this piece but it's hard to see most of it since it's zoomed out so far. It would benefit a whole lot if you could see it in a much larger scale.

-Some parts look brushed or almost smudged to give it a darker tone than it already has and it fits quite well. Meshing with the gaunt face and giving it more detail in some of the crevices of the face.

-The mouth seems to be a bit too large for the head though. It could also use maybe a tattoo or one more piercing.

Well

-I love how you took the time to use four different levels of hardness for graphite pencils instead of trying to shade lighter with one pencil. It may not seem like a huge difference but it really helps with keeping everything even and it saves time.

-The only thing that is saddening to say is that you did a better job at drawing Sly than drawing the buildings. You just needed to pull out a straight-edge of some sort for that.

-Overall I think you did a good job but just work on little details more.

Honestly...

-It's a little out there for an alt version of a character. The body looks a bit misshapen in the arms and legs. She looks a little old in my opinion too.

-I did however like the whole fall colors scheme that you have going for this. Mixing it with the whole backdrop of the classic spinning colors from one point.

[A-Bot]

Well

I don't think it's that bad honestly. It has that whole stencil-colored pencil look to it and it looks very close to the actual A-bot in proportions and such.

As for it having a pencil-drawn look, well... that's because it is. :P
It's hand-drawn using coloured pencils and scanned. Annoyingly, the scanner doesn't work as well as I'd hoped, and some of the colour was lost in the process of getting it uploaded (the original is a lot more vivid). I'm still trying to figure out how to get around that one.

As for the proportions, I know it's not horrible, but when you put it next to the real one on the Audio portal page the differences become much more apparent. I just plain forgot to structure the drawing as a whole to make sure everything was proportional. Not doing any serious attempts at artwork for 7 years will do that to a guy.

Anyway, thanks for noticing (and not hating on) it. Much appreciated! :)
