Great game

It was simply wonderful. You definitely have graphic skill and flash talent, and I hate it when these dumbasses put you down for your brilliance. That's why your style rocks. You have this way of giving back to the idiots by allowing them to be stupid and do all 2060 of them or complain that they are dumb and bring you down. No flaws in sound, so that's definitely good for this flash. Obviously there is interactivity, and your game deserves a much higher score than it has because it IS a game, and it is true to its name. they are 2060 unbeatable warriors. Obviously its humorous, in 2 ways. 1 is some of the attacks- like baby or friendship or love. Then the other humor comes from reading the reviews of the dumabsses who say that the game is not worth playing because they want to win. Well that;s some good ol Freudian repression for you, you shithead reviewers who are abusively underating a flash artist. Good job.

Fun game

Frantic is reminiscent of the old fighter games of old many of us enjoyed as a child, depending on how long we've been on this Earth heh. Fast paced space fighter action with players required to either bring some serious reflexes and dexterity to the table or lose out fairly swiftly.

For a flash graphically Frantic didn't have all the shine and glamor that has been seen on some projects here on Newgrounds, but what it does utilize was appropriate for this style of game. The sound effects used all be it a little repetitive which would speak more about the genre were clear and crisp and made you believe for that briefest of moments that indeed you were blowing countless hundreds of alien craft back to their makers.

Included in the game was the standard weapons upgrade which all good space shooters of this nature require and the fact time was taking to include this was appreciated. Apart from simple weapon upgrades a couple of random other bonuses were thrown in that mixed it up a little.

Frantic unfortunately did have a couple of small issues but don't lose heart because this is indicative of most newer/first series games. The mouse responsiveness fell a little short. To test this simply move your mouse at high speed in any direction and see the lag taken for your ship to move to the location. You get used to it and sure players are fine, but its sill a point I'd point out for a fix in the future. Background music was a little repetitive, try mixing up tracks between levels. I also felt for the number of slots given to players for weapons was one to short. Having upgraded the stock standard fields and having money to spare the upgrade for 1-UP weapon upgrade would have been nice, but sadly zero space to put it.

Fun game

-I love this game. It's atmospheric, it's very visually attractive for being and in fact because it is gray on gray and simple pixels, the controls are fluid, there's good laughs in the control listing and the messages that come up when you die, the music makes me gush in a way that's embarrassing in public situations, and, most importantly, it's fun. I can just sit and make that little man jump for hours.

-The sole reason I'm not giving it a perfect score is the jumps into windows. At the higher speeds, it's almost impossible to make those short of being clairvoyant, so they're almost always a game stopper for me. Then again, it never stopped me from starting again, so it's far from a huge issue, and barely an issue at all.

Very fun retro game

-The graphics were excellent, smooth lines throughout and that green is amazing. It also had a good framerate too, although little variety and not a huge amount of detail.

-Thegameplay was extremely challenging and at the same time rewarding. This will keep quite a few hooked for a while, although checkpoints as an optional feature would be nice for those wanting to explore the entire level, plus its very repetitive but in this case the design of levels more than make up for that.

-There was great music in all three levels, not much background sound to speak of though, although this aims for that retro feel.

- This game is very fun overall with little extras like the speech in easy mode, the beautiful menu design this game is a highly polished piece of work, with good, yet not entirely original gameplay. the helicopter game with a twist, and one for the better too.

Well

In this game you dodge obstacles, go upsode dpwn, and collect green balls. This game is addicting at first but gets old after the second or third level. I gets hard fast. The guy on the bike is afrkin whimp! This game needs a sequel. An easier funner and better looking game. Wheres the blood anyway? Well I would reccomend this game to anyone that has nothing better to and doesnt have a social like what so ever.

Great game

-Fun, well paced game that gave an increasing challenge without becoming too frustrating. I would of preferred more than ten levels to extend the amount of time that you can play this game and give you different kind of challenges.

-I really liked how the menu was layed out. It's kind of standard but being able to use the arrow keys to navigate it was fun and there weren't any unneeded buttons. You could just scroll around when you selected where you wanted to go.

-The background music is great and doesn't get annoying while playing the game for extended amounts of time. You can mute it if you want to listen to something else too though.

-Overall I think this is a well thought out game that gives a considerable challenge to the thinking gamer. The only thing that I would of liked is more levels.

Awesome

Awesome! I really like how it stands up to the movie's statabillity, and even though I think the movie's better, this is still badass. I love the Halo esque Dual-Weilding system and the thoose robotic gangstas that weild difrent weapons then the Ice Cream Men will influence you to keep on playing and find new weapons. There ain't much game here, but it's worth it because this also includes a Thing-Thing like high score system and even though I never found all the weapons I hope there's tons. This game nearly stands up to the movie but rests just above average.

Enjoyable

I enjoyed this game with the spare time I had. This however isn't exactly the best teaching material as some people may believe it to be. For one thing, it's good practice not to execute "extra" commands and stuff if you really have to. This game may or may not encourage that, but it's just a personalized high score. And another thing, as a good programmer, you should know very well what to expect of the program if you've done it correctly (and if you didn't, well, you learn). Make incentives to try to get the puzzle done in the first go. I know the last few statements may be a bit contradicting when it comes to testing code bit by bit, but this is a puzzle with simple elements really.

Well

Unlike your "Yellow" game, which is one of the most unenjoyable and aggravating things I have played in awhile (sorry), this one I quite like. The concept is alot better and more solid than the other one, and I enjoy playing it. The spinning is out-of-this-world, and the music plus graphics and excitement never ceases to enthrall and engage me as I am playing the thing. It's tough, but not in a bad way. There is enough room to improve and get better here, so that the difficulty doesn't feel unfair, or unwinnable (This was the main problem I had with your "Yellow" game, but with this one I feel very comfertable with the challenge. It's fun :)).
Not much else to say. If you make another game as good as this one, then I will definately be pleased. Not sure what much else you could do with this ides, though, and have the challeneg still be fun without becoming insanely difficult.

Fun little game

-I'm not a fan of too many turn based games, but this one was pretty well done.

-The animation and graphics were nice, and it was quite amusing. However, it just seemed too easy. Once I got the JRPG blade, I felt there was no need to get any magic at all. You can easily beat the enemies just using your melee weapon.

-I'm not sure if I like shopping/using items doesn't take up your turn. It's helpful, but at the same time I fear it makes it a little too easy. Maybe have an option on this for an increased difficulty level.

-Regardless, it was a cute game that was fun.

I'm a pretty laid back person. Like some things about the new design but still like a lot of things from the old one :/
