Well

The engine for this game was absolutely stunning, a practically perfect 2D shooter engine. The ragdolls also added a huge amount of detail to the game and the physics engine even working with the ropes and boxes also was a fantastic detail. The artwork was great, even if you did take the box textures from half-life 2 (caught!) and the sound worked well. Unfortunatly, I never saw much of the game due to the punishing difficulty and small amounts of extra lives. If I could ask anything, i'd be that more extra lives or health be put in, enemies shots do less damage, and some nice music.

Well

This being the first game that I played today I was pleasantly suprised at how good it is especially since it's your first flash game that you've made and submitted to Newgrounds. I liked how there was a little tutorial guiding you all the way into world 1-1 to ease you into things and teach you a little. It's great how you created the whole Super Mario Bros. game for this and all the levels involved. I didn't go too far with each character but I did play around with each one of the six to get a feel for the advantages and disadvantages of each character. I felt that link suited my play style best and I just loved the cute little outfits he had when he upgraded. As many others have mentioned before me I felt like Samus was a bit of a letdown as a character as she was difficult to do much with. I had to try jumps several times sometimes to get up on top of blocks. Overall this is one of the best Super Mario Bros. remakes that i've seen in a long time and your work has definitely payed off since it has so much replayability that i'll be coming back to play it more. I'm putting it on my favorites list so I can easily find it again too.

Well

All the little side-missions were a great idea to pad everything out between the main missions. There was a great variety of gadgets, devices and customization, so that was lots of fun too. If I have one complaint, it might be that it was a little too easy? At first, in the second main mission, I found myself wishing a lot for a save point somewhere in the middle so I didn't have to start over and over every time I died near the end... but once I loaded up with some of the more powerful weapons and armour, I found it really very hard to lose actually; so maybe the bosses could have been toughened up a tad.

Well

Great idea, it reminds me a lot of dungeon keeper. Having a monster, fighting off humans, setting traps. Great fun. I loved the blood and violence effects along with the humor of the game, giving it a unique style. One suggestion though, either put in different maps or make the player able to create permanent blocks like those wood blocks to customize the level or something, just to keep it new and exciting instead of just the same defense over and over.

Well

The art and music were superb, and the game itself was really fun to play. The music is some of the best that I've heard in a flash game, and it's so damn catchy. There are only a few gripes, but nothing to major. One thing I noticed is that sometimes, my guy refused to do the power swing when I clicked. Some of them may just stem from my laptop, but I'm not sure. If you were to make a sequel and fix the bugs, add more variation to the shop, make more amazing music, and maybe even add more variation to the level design, you could have the best launcher to date

Well

Much better than the first one, very fun to play, and very well made. I just had one problem and that was that it was hard to tell what was happening occasionally. When i was swarmed by little robots i couldn't tell what was an enemy and what was metal. To add to my troubles there were constant explosions that i could not see through, and i was being batted around like crazy when i got hit. Still, gameplay was good, upgrade system was good, and the graphics and sounds are very good. Awesome game!

Well

Didn't play for long, but from what I got...recycling is pointless, you can't buy/sell stuff, you just equip it. Enemy waves are always in the same pattern and move the same every time. At the beginning it's totally boring because there is such a slow pace and it's incredibly easy. Bosses aren't much of a challenge and always do the same thing. Sounds are okay, music isn't that bad either. Nothing enticed me to play further and it didn't feel very engaging.

Well

The game is fun overall. It brings back the classic Newgrounds game feel, which is nice but other than the nice graphics and detail, the game doesn't bring much to the table when it comes with new material. Again, not a bad game but not a perfect one either

Well

This is one of the best games I have ever played on newgrounds. At first I thought the controls were very simple, I mean 4 buttons control everything and only one attack. As I went along I found that there was a lot you could do with just four buttons. The complexity of the puzzels and how you solve them is quite remarkable for a game that has such a simplistic feel to it. The farther along I got, the more intriguing the game became. There were a lot of abilities and combos to discover even in the later stages of the game. I liked the fact that there were new abilities to discover that you kinda had all along. It gave the game some great replay value. Overall i'm glad I decided to play this game when I saw it.

Well

I did not like the art. It appeared to try too hard to be a unique style of anime, but it came out looking obtrusive. Also, very few of the choices in the game can be considered Emo. You even had some anime-inspired options there.

I'm a pretty laid back person. Like some things about the new design but still like a lot of things from the old one :/
