Too Easy

-The very first time i played i got to mars in 3 days?! Even without any more then one fuel power up and one launch pad power up i almost got to the moon on the first day. I'd say double the distance to the moon and mars and cut the bonus's by 25%. Plus it would also be nice to be able to go to all the planets. Maybe thats for the next one ;).

-On the 4th day i got like 1.2 million dollars :S. Maybe cut those bonus's down like 75% come to think of it.

-What does that million dollar bonus do anyways? It seemed to have no affect on the gameplay?

-The new radar rocks. Much improved over the first one. Couldnt figure out anything on it in the first one.

-A high/medium/low graphics option would definitly help. You could play the game much quicker without lag if you could degrade the graphics just a little.

Well

-It feels a little spammy to me since it has no objective at all.

-You really need to work on your cropping skills for the pictures you probably took from a google image search. Use a lasso tool or something that can easily go around what you need so you can crop better.

-The buttons seem a little too big and oddly placed since they are all over the screen. They also aren't needed since Charles Burger just seems to have a mind of his own and go only one way anyway.

-The ending wasn't quite what I expected but there wasn't a point to it other than just fill up our screens with nazi swastickas and random people.

-Just take your time and do little things to make your flashes have more polish to them so they will look nicer even if there isn't a point to them. This would make your work so much better.

Well

Enjoyed it indeed! Feels a bit like fetching and throwing a baseball especially because you're also running against time. Looks good and mechanically mostly worked really fine (except for the bug mentioned below). But when you're over partime you can just as well take forever because you can only master it at the next attempt. Good thing that you can replay each level but maybe in a sequel you could find a way to keep the first try exciting for longer. The 'did you know' part for the intermissions is nice but the facts could be a bit more interesting (anyone knows that the number of dwarves was 7 and trivia about harry potter is a bit too trivial for my taste) and profound (as whether pluto is a planet or not is a much discussed matter of definition) . The bug: Experienced a bug where the ball exploded when being shot from a port whose back was too close to a wall even if the front was free. The ball then exploded inside the port when I pressed the spacebar. Other than that I found no issues and it ran really smoothly from a gameplay point of view.

Well

like the simple but professional presentation of this game. It was a very spirtual theme that encouraged focus. That gameplay was pretty innovative, which is something I always appreciate. I've played similar, but nothing quite like it. The graphics could have been a tad more polished, but I didn't take points off for that. What I did take points off for was due to the gameplay. Basically getting things "right" became an exercise of a guess and try. Several levels I felt any strategy would've been as good as any other, it was just about getting the posistioning just right. Other times I really had no strategy, and just put a block down and watched it bounce for a couple of minutes and hoped for the best. If there was a strategy in these levels I couldn't concieve it. I'm 1 under pro... I don't think a pro should be guessing and trying... Basically this game rewards persistance much more than intelligence, which irks me for a puzzle game. I would've like to see more balance in that regard.

Well

Minus the sensitivity on the controls the game was pretty good. I liked the overall idea of the game. Maybe you could add a couple more powers/ puzzle types which would give the game a wider veriety and make it a lot more fun to play. A man can only stack boxes for so long before he gets bored and wants to go onto the next thing. Try throwing in a couple of enemies and new powers that you could play around with. Some great examples would be to use the same box stacking technique to double up for throwing an enemy into a spike pit or try putting a solid non moveable block in and add in the power to blow it up. It's just little additions like these that could made a sequal for this game so much better and give it some replayability as well.

Well

The graphics are what make this game so interesting. Whilst most stickmen games tend to be really bed aside from a select few, this rises above that and makes it seem more Prince of Persia like. I was impressed with them overall, but I think the level design could be a bit more colorful in future games. The game is very smooth and is of excellent animation quality. I've never seen anything like it on NG since Alien Hominid, and that got a console remake! I could see this going the same way. Aside from the stepping on the spiders and penguins, which is hardly stomach turning, there wasn't any violence. But that suits this game fine, as the low fi charm of it would be ruined by gallons of blood. I also like the lack of any real fighting, which again matches in with the game well.

What I really liked is the simple controls make the game simple to get into, and the instant response to button presses are a charm, especially as many platform/action games fall foul to unresponsive controls making them to hard to play. Aside from the "Beware angry penguin", there really isn't any attempt at humor. The simplicity of the penguin sign is charming, and shows that this designer has gone the whole way to making something origional and new instead of the old "ninja and pirates" thing. I don't suppose this game has much of a story, so there isn't much point in characters, so there isn't therefore, much point in humor.

Overall it's a great game here on NG, and one of my personal faves. I would easily reccomend this for a Nintendo DS or Advance remake, as it shares their games charm and addictivness. Well done!

Well

I loved the first one, but I like the new one even more. The defending missions might be hard for someone so I took a picture of a station structure that really helped me, only one time during the first defensive mission I lost all power, but that was my first go at it with this method so it can probably be used on the higher difficulties with a little refining. It is a two pronged system with 7 completely upgraded energy stations with 6 fully upgraded pulsar turrets near the gate and 6 THEL turrets spread out on the right side of the screen. The only annoying thing is the way the THELs waste energy on fighters, but I'm sure it is possible to just move the level 2 energy station I have out side of the structure and plant some proximity pulsar's to take out the smaller enemies.

Well

While I really did enjoy this game while playing it. The graphics were crisp and animated nicely, the exploding screams of soldiers had me chuckling for the first half hour (till i muted it). The shield was a rare innovative touch i have not seen in other games, controls were fine, but i do feel it had some shortcomings. The game doesnt change after the first 15min or so. The only visible upgrade that i remembered seeing was the size of the shield and getting triple shots. I would like to have seen more reward for spent money. I want to see a bigger gun everytime i upgrade it, i want to see heavier missiles, more armor clad armor, you get the idea. Overall I found the game to be extremely easy to just advance level after level without difficulty. The main reason for this being that it was very repetitive in nature and became too simple very fast.

Well

I would suggest that you add some textures to the different planets, maybe some pastel colors. You could theme it so that each planetary system was a particular color. In fact you could have different regions of space that were recognizable as a part of a particular system, that is the asteroids that were associated with that part of space took on the characteristics of the planet nearby. I'd try to have something different at each system as well. I'm no games developer so I don't know, but I could mention ideas from other games, but then that wouldn't be original, lol. As someone else mentions; the game seems sluggish in places (I have a high end system, so it's not my computer that's causing it). That does need to be addressed. At the moment I've only played the game for a short time, so need more time to think, but I think you have something very special here.

Good Game

Amazing use of 3D in flash. I'm really impressed by what you pulled off. However, I don't like your free aim style mouse controls. I'd rather have the crosshairs in dead center rather than having the gun moving around. I got attacked from behind and was swinging around wildly trying to get my guy to turn around. I think you should stick with standard quake controls. Other than that, cool game. Brings back old times.

I'm a pretty laid back person. Like some things about the new design but still like a lot of things from the old one :/
