Keep going with this

-When I first saw the file size it made me frown since I knew it would take a bit to load and I thought it would be a short animation that wasn't compressed properly. But after watching I had a completely different opinion on this area. I'm not exactly sure how long this animation was but it was pretty long and with the amount of audio used there had to of been some compression to begin with to get it to the size that it is currently at.

-The loading screen isn't the worst it could be(loader with plain background) but it isn't all that great either. It's just a still with the two main characters. This could of had some sort of information on the characters or some nice links to some of your other works(hint for sequel). Just have something to make the load time go by just a little faster. I most assuredly don't expect any future works in this series to be of any lower quality so there will be time for loading on those too.

-The main story looks pretty well thought out since there were some solid character designs and you at least took the time to tell us some of the backstory before the title screen came up. It's just a little backdrop and there are a few things that are left out(why they don't have parents) but it's the thought and effort that count(better than going in blind). As I was watching I noticed some familiar things in the scenery which you are most likely drawing from dragonball or something similar. I'm mainly saying this because of the fact that you had a tournament with a rather similar layout with people talking on the sideline. The fighting mechanics were also extremely overexaggerated with people flying all over the place which should mean that they have extraordinary strength and that should prove useful in fighting that beast.

-The drawing is solid and again the notice to fine details is great. There was obvious time taken into account for drawing each respective character and the town itself. I really liked how you made the town float in the middle of the sky and have a plot element involving water which shouldn't even be there to begin with unless there is some divine power holding it there. Sometimes when the characters would talk their whole body would move even though it really didn't need to which is some more of the overexaggeration that is involved in this animation.

-There is audio abound here with a ton of great works that you pulled from the newgrounds audio portal. I much prefer when people use work from there since there is always something for everything there and a lot of it is really high quality. You incorporated them nicely into your animation here and they really helped it in some places. Voice acting isn't the best but it does do wonders to have very distinct voices for each character. This makes me think that you had several different people voice acting or just one talented person.

-Overall it's a great start to a series that has some potential. This really doesn't get the praise that it deserves. While it might not be the best ever or anything amazing it is really good and a lot better than most people can ever get to in animating. Here's to hoping that you continue to improve and get the next installment in the series out soon so we don't have to wait too long.

Thanks! Very very helpful review! I'm glad you enjoyed and yes, episode 2 will improve on all the aspects lacking in this episode. Or should I say, I will take everything I learned from this episode and carry on with what I've learned and put it to use. Episode 2 will likely be about half as long as this episode and shouldn't take too very long to have ready for launch. Hope to see you back!

Vaporeon

The new introduction is one of my favorite introductions that you guys have made. It's artfully done and extremely suspenseful. It creates some great irony when you actually get to the work that you have masterfully crafted. Vaporeon is definitely the queen of all the evolutional pokemon of eevee. I was a little saddened by the use of a sprite version of vaporeon but the way that you presented this work as a whole was well deserving of a 10.

Great Job

"They really wanted to go to Busch Gardens." Your humor astounds me sometimes. There were other parts that I thought were great but they were full of off color words. Great investigative work went on here and some nice camera angles only helped it out.

Thanks, this is our second oldest movie. :P

Really funny but true

That was just damn funny. This is one of the funniest Flash Movies I've seen so far here on Newgrounds.com. The passing was just spot on and didn't feel entirely rushed. Now this actually happens to be based on a true story, as told via the Author Comments. However, it obviously isn't exact, but rather over exaggerating the whole situation. The video starts off with the camera (well, techicnally not the camera, but I don't know what you call this process) moving across people who are outside having a great time. Here, you see probably the funniest french kissing ever. The protagonist shows up driving his car, texting a messaging on faceback via his cell phone. Runs into a guy on the road, and suddenly starts to run over other people and gets the car in a pond. The driver is seen with his guts sticking out in a bloody mess lying on a tree. This bit is rather questionable, but who cares if it's so darn funny! By the way, if some of you haven't noticed yet, around the end where the protagonist is messaging on facebook and you see the page, look at the left side and you'll see links regarding his ass *XD. The graphics are also pretty good and really goes well with the comedic feel of the movie. The animation is very top notch, some of the smoothest I've seen. I just love seeing top quality animation like this! My favorite animation would definitely have to be the french kissing. 'Cause that was mad funny!

Awesome

Great job with this piece. Overall look and sound work was awesome. And great job on presenting some really heavy stuff in the lightest possible format lol That's tough for some people to pull off. I've seen many do it in a more gradual way, building up to that moment, but you put it right in the face of everyone, characters and audience don't even see it coming,

Good Job

It has potential for great entertainment, this video, and while it defies the Newgrounds norm of ending in something abrupt and gory, it still doesn't quite meet incredible standards. Sure, the song was great, the concept was scintillating, and the animation worked pretty good, but once the kid entered his dream world, he only did one thing, and it just went very slowly. I was prepared to be dazzled by schools of beautiful fish, startled deep sea divers, submarines, and excitable underwater capers. You led me on with your catchy, climactic music selection.

Nice

Nicely done flash here, i thought the storyline was just terrific, i like how the two main characters were cautious at the start and by the end they were just having fun with the whole situation, they should have gotten what the others got at the end though to just wrap up the story nicely. I thought that the two highlights of this flash were the incredible voice acting for all the characters and the explosion effects that you used, they were great. Overall a fun short to watch.

Great

Grats on the awards man. You deserve em. That toon was rad. Simple but Beautiful idea. The music really enhanced it. Epic choice. I'll probably go download it now. I like the little details you put into it. How the guys clothing does an almost transformers approach of jumping together. Well at least people of some sort made Stonehenge lol. I always kinda get pissed at people who say aliens did it or some shit, Give people more credit. But yea. Very well put together. Hope this spurs you on to make some more epic animations.

ah but people DID make it! PEOPLE FROM THE FUTURE!

I liked it

It's always nice to see new original content on newgrounds. At first I was turned off by the atmosphere because it was almost stereotypical sci-fi, but fortunately the ghost like creatures came in and spiced it up a bit. I'm not sure if Windows is really that bad unless they updated to Vista then it's even worse then a mac. It's odd to see the Death God use a mac... Does this mean he never plays games? Good flash none the less.

I'm a pretty laid back person. Like some things about the new design but still like a lot of things from the old one :/
