Good Job

-Yeah it's a bit short but it's still longer than a lot of the stuff I see here. Plus it's part of a battle series. I enjoyed watching the battle unfold. Pretty intense action and a good fight scene overall.

Good but could use some touching up

Focusing only on the animation and story, i enjoyed this, and its a great start so far. There are some inconsistencies in the quality, but it gets better as it goes and i'm sure the next one will be even better. My one complaint would be that you need to differentiate your stickmen better. At times, its hard to tell who it is we're looking at because all of them have pretty much the same features. Since you focus so much on their eyes, i think the easiest thing to do would be to make all of their eyes a different shape.

My other big complaint is that the major fragments don't advance from one to the other on their own. They basically just stop at a black screen. I managed to watch each part individually, but that was still very annoying. I think the credits could have been better and showed off who did what voice since there is such great voice work on this thing! Finally, the subtitles need a proofread since there were some grammatical mistakes. Not anything that is ruining to the animation and overall I took a liking to it from start to finish.

Thanks for the review man :)

Actually your right about the features. I've already have been trying to make unique eye shapes for every character as a start, if i think of anything else that will help i'll throw it in as well.

And i'm not sure the full credits loaded for you because i was sure to put who voiced what in them. The movie does do that to some people unfortunately otherwise to runs fully without stopping. And lol yeah i typed too fast and make mistakes like that all the time, i'm watching out for that in the second episode :)

Well

Yes. It was interesting, but not super original. At least it wasn't completely ripped off, but I have seen the whole looking up joke before. But since I have only seen that on TV I will concede and say you were being original. The simplicity works well with the song. My favorite part being when the guy tries to say something but is stopped. You really picked a good song for this flash. Good job and keep up the good work.

Nice intro

Not bad. The storytelling and overall script is intrigueing. For an introduction to the soon to be series it's quite long. The whole superhero thing makes for many possibilities too. The drawings could use some shading to create the appearance of depth and maybe a little less tweening. Looks like this series has potential.

Laugh out loud

-One of the more funny original comedy shorts that i've seen in recent months. It's nice to see that new talent is arising in the flash portal these days considering how much garbage I see. Wasn't too long but a well timed joke can overcome the lack of length imo.

-Nice cartoony animation and drawing style that you used and fit well with the characters. The background music only helped to this effect even more so and the chummy smile sealed the deal in the end. Enjoyed...5'd...favorited.

Thanks alot man!

Really Touching

-The emotions I felt watching the movie 'almost' felt like the real deal. The narrative in the song is the perfect frame to work the animation around it. There is alot to be said about the color scheme inspiring liveliness of a football game to dark anguish of his mother's funeral. Your real genius shows through when you carved the jesus symbol atop flipping pages of scripture. It was just 'chilling' the way you did it...

-Like, one of the most poignient thing I thought about nearing the end of the movie is that we are all going to die eventually. We all go through life like pages in a photo album and eventually, there would be no more pages left. What memory of us lives on afterwards in the people still left alive around us.

-The main question is, what am I going to make of my life with the time I have left. I'm pretty sure the story you animated here is just one of many others that occured in real life. I envy those who either overcame "doubt" in his or her own faith to live a full-filling life or never experienced it in the first place.

Godlimations responds:

well said friend. the envy part is easy to fall upon, as i daydream a lot hehe... but in some ways, its a motion that deprives boredom, a fair compromise.

Nice

This truly reminds me of the old cartoons I used to watch as a kid, but what I really liked was all the little sight gags that only a true fan would recognize, such as the doomsday clock reaching midnight and Rorshach petting the dogs. It's the little details like that that truly make this one shine out. The only thing that threw me off was "Be in bed by ten." Even as a kid, I would have found that a little too cheesy. Don't get me wrong; I would have watched the show anyway, even if it used this exact intro. Very nice work indeed.

Nice Collab

-Let me start by saying as an ex hardcore fanboy of sonic I didn't know what to expect. I was hoping some of these would be fitting tributes to the series and the generic observation jokes about the games but also had shorts which mocked the hell out of every fuck up SEGA has made recently. Not to mention the 'furry' side of the fanbase has no end of possible jokes material.

-Without even getting to the movie the title screen alone was a great concept with all the argued better or worse changes sonic has gone through over the years. It took me a while to recognize the music though. The movies themselves were mostly awesome, with the only disappointment being that Wonchop was the only one who mocked SEGA/ the fanbase. The devil tails doll was pure genius and my favorite part.

-Glad I came across this in my skimmings of the flash portal as all in all this was very well put together and worth watching. Might even go watch some of the other shorts if i've missed those too.

Letdown Ending

This, in almost EVERY aspect, was amazing, if not perfect. The animation was fluent and beautiful, art, was very nice to look at. Characters, believable and you even start to get an emotional connection with them. Your pacing, suspense, and use of color and angles, along with music and sound effects, are brilliant in really freaking out your audience and making them sit up at the edge of their seats.

Although...the ending...it just, really didn't do it for me. I feel like it took all the suspense and intensity you built up and just made a joke out of all of it, which seemed like a waste...I think it should of been a little more of a creepy ending...more mysterious, not knowing what got the dog, and it ends with him in his cabin like in fetal position dying from starvation and the cold..with the sound of the mysterious beings loudly pounding on every angle of the shack. That would have been much better.

Well Played :)

I liked the art style, but the animation was a little weird at times, specifically when she was running through the woods. However, I loved the lip movement at times how it followed every word, very nice work there. As for the plot, I knew immediately when he said all of that stuff about that monster that he would inevitably be the monster. Also, the talking at the beginning felt really awkward, though we don't know if it was their first date, so that could be the explanation. Lastly, the ending montage was hilarious, I thought you'd devolve into tentacle rape images, but you took it where I wasn't expecting and as a result made it a lot better. Keep up the great work.

I'm a pretty laid back person. Like some things about the new design but still like a lot of things from the old one :/
