Great

-This is some pretty good dubstep with a story to go with it which is a high note but I expected this to be much nastier than it is. But it's very crisp and precise which shows much mastering and care in the finishing of this. Shame you couldn't do this for the robot day competition that was last month since it's rather robotic. Mixing is very well done for this one but most of your stuff is done in high quality.

Well

-This would sound so much better if it wasn't so cluttered together. More spacing and progression would lengthen the song but also allow you to introduce different parts at different times while layering it better so everything isn't playing at once.

-I love piano melodies and the ones you have here sound excellent. The snare is very abrasive in comparison to the soft melody and doesn't work well to be honest. I'd love to see more piano but in a simpler song.

Nice

-It's quite a shame that this site is full of 0 bombers since the score has dwindled a little since the time that you posted this up on the RRC. Ambient is a very good style of music that is more atmospheric than anything but most people don't like it.

-If anything I think this could improve from a slight pick up in the pace of the song. It's great the way it is nonetheless but I just feel that making this longer and increasing the pace of the song would make it feel like less of a loop and more of a defined ambient tune.

-Overall nice atmospheric feel with a subtle buildup that I could listen to for a long time without getting bored with. Oddly enough I could see this in a spooky natured remake.

In all honesty. . The response I've gotten on this song has really meant that zerobombers don't mean much to me. . I know that people like it and that's the main thing for me, and the fact that I've never had a review lower than 8 is a bit of a confidence boost too B).

Anyways, ambient can be interpreted in many ways, so I'm not surprised if people don't take a liking to it like other genres. This denomination is one of my faves to listen to.

In regards to your review, as of now I have a longer version~ it has more length but as for pace, it has a lot less of that so when I revisit that I'll be sure to take a look into that.

Hehe, thanks for the compliments, it's always good to hear what the RRC have to say about what I turn out. Thanks man! ^__^

-RRC-

-This is definitely an interesting song that is quite unique since I don't hear too many songs that implement pipes. Has a very light feel that picks you up at the beginning.

-Guitar sounded a bit abrasive when it first came in but soon started to supplement the pipes. If anything you could of incorporated more instruments or made this longer since it's so short. More of a teaser of things to come so if you do actually do more songs with pipes i'd love to hear it.

DeckyAudio responds:

Thanks for the review.

Doubt I will do anymore songs with pipes, this was alwas meant to be a one off. A small challenge for myself.

Cool storytelling

-The first section starts out kind of glitchy but quickly turns into a spacy melody. Not as dark as I anticipated but it's atmospheric nonetheless and evokes a drifting off picture in my head. Great progression that eventually lead to a slow transition into the second phase of his adventure.

-Many suttle beats incorporated and i'm guessing this signifies his discoveries and overall realization that he has made a mistake. I liked the effects used and it gave some variation that was well needed. Despite being progressive the song moved a bit slow.

Thanks very much -- I'm glad the story part worked for you!

This was supposed to be my fast song lol. 165 BPM = fail haha

Great

-I actually remember that username. Nice to see that you didn't leave and just created a new account. Definite improvement from the original but you've been doing a lot of remasterings and remixes lately. Nice song with some kick and a nice mix of melodies. Keep up the good work.

Nice

While it's not the most amazing song it definitely has some nice atmospheric elements that really attribute to the soothing feeling that this song gives off. I enjoyed listening to this and it's great to just let sit in the background while i'm doing something.

FuNaNdMoRe responds:

Great to hear you enjoyed it.

Well

-As far as I can tell you seem to create songs at a rapid pace lately. I can't even seem to get myself around to reviewing as fast as you are making new songs(i'm like 5 behind XD). If anything it shows your dedication to creating music though since you're constantly working at it.

-The introduction is crazy slow but it at least hits and starts to speed up rather quickly as the build-up starts to become more apparent. The song felt like more build-up than anything else though. Maybe you could incorporate an extended climax of sorts if you come back to this. Plenty of bass throughout except for the complete drop at about 2:30 which left the song to fade out nicely.

-Overall it's a pretty nice song with a catchy beat. Very quickly paced for the most part without really overdoing anything. The melody balanced out very well with the amount of percussion. The synth isn't too overused which is great since you could of easily brought it to the forefront.

thanks for the review :) and yeah I do make songs pretty quick. Which could be be more or less of a bad thing.

Robot Day

-Well you definitely did take a different perspective to your Robot Day submission than i've heard anyone else take. Like you said when you think about robots you usually think about the clunky old ones and the metallic rough sounds. But robots have advanced much since then and can be very smooth and gentle when they do certain objectives.

-I really like how this song played out and the majesticness of the robot that you portrayed. Nothing too overly fancy was done but it was very good to my ears and I really enjoyed giving this a listen. While you said it was mastered a lot there are some spots where the effects were clipped :( It's not exactly a sin but it's one of those things that will most likely get picked out and spotted by the judges of the contest. Otherwise everything was well in order.

i will fix that then! ty for the heads up :D

Simple

-Well it definitely is a simple little song. Well not exactly little since it is a little over five minutes long but while it isn't all that complicated the melody is okay at least. I think it drags on some and could of been shortened since it is such a simple song. It sounds a lot like something you would hear while strolling around in a Pokemon game and after looking at your other titled songs it seems like this is your area of expertise. I at least did enjoy listening to this and I guess that's what is most important.

Radidsh responds:

Hi there, sixflab from the Review Request Club!

The song is long and may seem boring, and I believe this is one of my major flaws of composing up to this point. I both have a lack of instruments and a lack of knowledge to use them, but I believe I am getting better at least. Fruity Loops 3 is the program I usually use, but this one was created using Modplug Tracker, which is a freeware text-based module tracking program.

Earlier, I was hearing something similar, that I was making music that easily would fit into the Sonic the Hedgehog games or universe. Pokémon is one of the games I love to play at the moment, not to mention video games at all (I love video game music), so I do take that as a big compliment! X3

Thank you lots for the nice review and kind words. I am happy that you enjoyed listening to it! That is indeed (I hope) what counts, and I hope that next time I make an audio project, it will be more earcandy to it. =3

Seeyou around, and thanks!

I'm a pretty laid back person. Like some things about the new design but still like a lot of things from the old one :/
