Well

I can at least say I got a laugh out of this. It's a funny concept and I think you picked the right clocks for the job. The looping works effectively but I thought it was a bit jagged in the animation. You should of also looped the music because it eventually just stops after the first playthrough.

TelephoneClock responds:

I agree that I probably could have made the animation a little smoother, but I was kinda pressed for time and I just wanted to get this out there. Also, I was having trouble with looping the music the way I thought I could, but oh well. I'm surprised you watched it for that long!

Well

I found that strangely amusing. Making parodies of shows are usually the funniest because there is a lot of room to play with them and you used almost all of that. There was pretty much everything you could think of happening except what would actually happen on a talk show. Beautifully drawn also and the animation is smooth. I'd like you to make more videos like this.

Sexual-Lobster responds:

thanks!

Well

Well personally I didn't think it was that bad but like you say it needs work. It took too long to get into it first of all. The character blinking his eyes four or five times before it even started with the intro scene. It's crisp and clean with nice effects as far as showing different parts of him at a time. Maybe add layering for better effect though. Also if your going to make a larger video you'll need to compress the file to make it easier to load for people with slow computers.

JBTheAnimator responds:

Yeah.
I tested it out from my pc to my laptop and it lagged like hell!
The rest im going to take care of later.
Thanx for the tips :3

Well

As a whole there hasn't been much crew activity in general. It's nice to see a little animation from you and it does have a very valid point. The lock legion was one of the better groups in the sense that they actually worked together to make good flash videos instead of spamming endlessly. I had a little stint with the bomb brigade a while back so I know what it's like to be in one of these ng groups. I may cook something up for lock day to get back in the spirit but i'm not sure what i'll do.

LeafLock responds:

lol, well it'd be great to see you submit something. and if you ever feel the urge, come on down to locklegion.org and join up. :3

Well

This was an interesting video to say the least. I knew what I was supposed to expect when I watched this video but I didn't think there would be fishies that would be adapting to their surroundings that fast. The music background was ok but there was probably something that would work better than what you used. Also the fish had a wierd design but it works well since it helps with the whole swimming mechanics and the predator fish's mouth.

billyblob responds:

Tthank you sixflab. I'll work harder on the music in my next ones.

Well

This is the type of professional looking action packed animations we all need to learn from. The most impressive factor to your movie was the camera angles. Great use of zooming and panning made this a very enjoyable movie to watch. I'd like to know if you used the v_cam and/or a graphic tablet to get all this hard work done? Great use of sound effects with epic bg music to top the mood. 5/5 10/10 for sure. Phenomenal job, keep it up your work is very inspiring!

Hulalaoo responds:

Making camera angles is my talent, and what is a v_cam ?

Well

I was actually eating cookies when I was watching this so two thumbs up. The plot was really funny as far as having one person who didn't know what was going on. The drawing was great and so was the animation going through. I'm not sure why it's so funny but I love when people redo something just to add a gay love story that everyone was already speculating. Having additional voice acting during the credits was good too. I actually would like more people to do stuff like that.

sirjeffofshort responds:

Yeah, I was always a fan of when people give the viewer a reason to watch the credits too, so I figure we'll keep doing something in that vein durring our credits.

Woohoo!

I love prequels. They always seem to answer all those questions that I have after watching the first episode of a series. The storyline for this whole series just gelled together and worked great. I just love how the tankmen with the spiked hats are so homophobic and seem to kind of be pedophiles at the same time while the regular tankmen are just the badass ones.

JohnnyUtah responds:

haha you know, I never quite saw it like that but you are right.

Claymation

I think claymation takes a lot of talent to do. I don't think I would have the patience to do a lot of the things you did in this video. It amazes me some of the things you made with clay and how you made them move around. I also really liked how you made your own loading bar out of clay. That's the first time that i've seen something like that done. It was really interesting to see something new in a claymation. I hope you keep striving to make bigger and better claymations.

Medniex responds:

Ha-ha! I'm glad you like the loading bar from clay :D

Good job

For a second submission it is solid. Your able to do facial expressions and movement but it's still a bit sloppy. I would suggest messing around with your frames per second to alleviate this issue. Other than that you have a really good point. Picking your nose is really disgusting if done in public.

WooleyWorld responds:

Finally somethin good. Yea I did it between now and lunch so I was in a hurry to post. Also I think running at 24 rather than my 12 fames would spruce it up.

I'm a pretty laid back person. Like some things about the new design but still like a lot of things from the old one :/
