Not sure how I missed this earlier in the day. Must of been when I decided to get my eight daily recommended hours of sleep or something like that. Nonetheless I was able to find this wonderful piece of work before it befell the fate of most flashes and had been lost.

It's not the lengthiest flash you could of made since there was room for SBC to attempt a feeble comeback but I can't say much seeing as how my longest clock day animation was 8 frames. I think it's definitely worthy of being added to the clock day collection so I submitted a recommendation.

kinggila responds:

I wouldn't worry too much about the Clock Day collection but thanks for the thought. :)

You just have to love pivot for it's simplistic nature. Haven't used that program in almost four years now. But I will have to say it does get the job done. Maybe in the future I can learn how to contort my body into letters by watching these.

Soapbubble responds:

I hate pivot.

While not wildly popular it's most likely due to the educational factor that you are bringing to this great day. Keep up the great work and research.

ChandlerThompson responds:

What do you mean "what?" You just whacked her in the head with a coffee pot!

But seriously, thanks for the endearing review.

Great for a first

-It's not too often that someone's first animation is actually decent and isn't just stick figures going across the screen with text. Much better than anything that i've made in flash. The effort and time taken to draw things out and add voices is well noted and shows that you actually have a little know-how of the flash program you are using.

-Even though you did have some nice character builds they still look somewhat unrealistic due to lack of shading and texture detail. Mainly on the muscly guy where his pecks and abs look completely flat and small details on the other characters.

-Lipsynching could use a little more work in the future to line up better and emulate mouth movements IRL. More atmospheric sounds to create more moody and dynamic scenes so the characters don't necessarily have to talk as much either. Still it's great for a first animation.

Thanks ever so much! I will certainly take on your suggestions!

Another great installment

-Another great installment in your series. Also once again I missed a few parts along the way so I had to go back and check them out first. If you make more comics i'll have to make sure to stay on track and check them out as they come into the portal. It's crucial to know the storyline for these comics of yours and that's a good thing since it's detailed.

-Still love how it's an interactive story and allows me to go at my own pace instead of continuing on it's own like a movie. You've kept all of the drawing style and music that go so well together to make the story more dark and intense. This one feels a bit rushed though since I also noticed the typos that Soapbubble saw. Haven't seen too many of those in the past but it doesn't take too much away from it.

I try to catch as many as I can...
Hope to see you on the last one!

More

-This is one of the newer series that I absolutely love seeing a new episode coming into the portal. It's just so random and the clerk is so priceless but believable as a character. I was suprised by the appearance of David Blain but I guess he was there for variety so the talking didn't get monotonous. Some good jokes and comments but the characters stayed in the same places and didn't do much other than talk.

-It was a good episode but it didn't make me laugh as much as emergency did. Still even though it isn't some of your best work it's still better than most of the stuff I see. Keep up the good work and i'm looking forward to more episodes of this series in the future.

aasimpy responds:

thanks for the great review, sixflab! i'll definitely keep 'em coming, and that feedback is really helpful.

Nice Story

-It's kind of dissapointing that this wasn't done in a flipbook manner rather than transfering it onto a computer to animate it. Since it was drawn on paper first it was inevitable that the route you took ended up ruining the quality of the drawings. I've seen some excellent work befall this tragic fate and once again it happens here.

-Another thing that i'm going to pick out is that there could of been more drawings included since it looks a bit choppy in areas of the animation with a lot of movement. It looks fine the way it is done other than that as far as the animation goes.

-Well thought out story which is the best part and why i'm giving this a high mark. Long run time which allowed for the story to really play out since there was some background as far as the worker of "Fate". He tried doing good to someone that was down on their luck and when he did a good job he was rewarded instead of scolded like I thought he was going to be.

Thanks for the review.

Silly Robots

It's a shame that this submission didn't get as much publicity as your other one on robot day. It lacks the upbeat dancing music but it's replaced by a just as fitting musical piece for the background of Robocop. He definitely seems like he is enjoying himself since he's shaking so much. It gave me a laugh so overall good job with this.

Punisher responds:

He is attempting to do the robot.
a dance move.

Nice

-This is pretty epic in my opinion. It must have taken a long time and much endurance to train this amazing robot. Definitely one of the highlights from robot day and i'm glad it recieved an award to go with it. Also some nice music to listen to while the robot dances around.

Punisher responds:

I think that is more factual, than opinion.

Nice

-I found this to be a rather enjoyable music/learning experience. While I already know the basics for rock concerts sice i've been to a few i've never seen it done in animation form. Let alone with some kick-ass robots doing them also. I was dissapointed when you left out the last two robot animations but that's what happens when you have a deadline for something.

-Nice good quality music to work with and some nice animating of the words coming in and out of the screen during the educational phases. The robots could of used a little more work but they looked good enough for your basic robot. I would of liked to see this in finished form and a little smoother but I doubt you'll come back to this.

thenewbies responds:

Awesome. Though I see your point, the animation work was rather lazy, especially with those generic robots. #4 was intentionally omitted from any demonstration, and as for #3, system instability forced me to take it out.

Actually, I might decide to improve it one day. Maybe remake #3 and clean it up further.

I'm a pretty laid back person. Like some things about the new design but still like a lot of things from the old one :/
